Questionmark Troubleshooting (Students)

Most Questionmark assessments and exams run smoothly, however if you do encounter an unexpected problem, please follow the guidance below which should help you to resolve your issue promptly.

Prior to the assessment/exam

Unsure where to access the Questionmark assessment/exam

All Questionmark exams taking place in the 20/21 Semester 2 Exam Diet can be accessed from the exam version of your module in My Dundee. These will be named in the format “Exam Module – Module Code – Module Title” and can be found on your Modules page once logged into My Dundee.

Exam module is showing as ‘Private’

Contact your module leader or School Office as they are responsible for making the exam module available to all students.

Within the exam module, the ‘Access the Exam’ section is not displaying

Access each item in the Live Exam folder sequentially in order to release the next item. (By accessing your exam, you indicate that you understand and agree to abide by the Academic Misconduct Statement provided.)

If you have followed the instructions above but the ‘Access the Exam’ section is not appearing, try refreshing the page (press F5 or click on the appropriate browser button).

Starting the assessment/exam

Exam is not listed in “My Scheduled Assessments” in Questionmark
  • Check the exam timetable to ensure you have got the date and time of your exam correct. If you are unsure, try contacting your School Office to confirm.
