No trust for Donald Trump

Pins won’t save the world (PWSTW) is a company whose aims are to raise the awareness and importance of equality. PWSTW understand that they might not make a major impact, but it can help raise funds and support charities which can make the person buying their products ‘feel better’.

“Now, more than ever, we have to resist Trump’s racism, misogyny, xenophobia, and homophobia becoming the new normal.  We need to stand up for tolerance, equality and unity.”PWSTW, https://www.pinswontsavetheworld.com/pages/about-us/,2016

I believe that what the company expresses that we all have to right to have Love no matter what. Most of the pin shown on their website suggest that we are in jeopardy. People are under threat from Donald Trump’s views and his supporters. PWSTW pins are reasonably priced withall profits going to the charities they support. The first of which was amnesty international who fight for justice and human rights

The play on words and imagery with the pins (shown below) really indicate a direct hit at how misogynistic Donald Trump is. How intellectually and morally inadequate he is to be the president of any country let alone the United States of America. These pins purpose (even if small) can show strength in a broken community by Donald Trump’s grotesque impacts, from his views on climate change to planned parenthood. I disagree with Trump entirely.

This Design I would say isn’t closely link with my practise/style of work as it’s a lot more politically than any work I have done so far but I strongly agree with this freedom of speech approach. It’s something that I would like to incorporate in the future.

As a side note –  below are a few of the pins. My Personal favourite ‘pussy grabs back’

I enjoyed reading your strong opinions about the pin and donald trump, but it could maybe have done with some more facts/figures about what donald trump is doing or about the pins to make a more shocking impact on the reader
