Dr Lynsey Burke is a lecturer in Early Childhood Education in the Division of Education and Society, School of Humanities, Social Sciences and Law, at the University of Dundee. Lynsey’s research expertise lies within the areas of early years, children’s voices, ethics, thinking skills, concepts of intelligence and creative data collection methods. She is currently working on three funded projects as Principal Investigator; Amplifying children’s voices through playful and creative research methods, Conceptualising play, and a collaboration with a social enterprise company, Talking Mats. At the University of Dundee, she has formed a network of staff passionate about the early years and playful research methods, and they are called, ‘The Playful Researchers’.
