Dr Mamoru Iwabuchi is a professor at Waseda University specializing in assistive technology and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) for people with disabilities. He is currently involved in a project aimed at developing an AI-based communication support system which helps elicit voluntary responses from children with severe and multiple disabilities.
