As it was recently World Malaria day, we would like to draw attention to the Malaria as it continues to be a worldwide killer.
This awful disease and its devastating effects are discussed in a fascinating talk by two of the University’s malaria researchers, Dr Beatriz Baragana and Irene Hallyburton. They discuss a new potential cure from the Drug Discovery Unit – a possible candidate drug which is now in its first human studies.
