A long time ago …

… in a galaxy far, far away …
Or, to be more accurate, a job about 520 miles away I started my application for Senior Fellowship. I think it was about 2012 or 13. It’s now over a decade, a new role, and the PSF is no longer UK only.
Fast forward to 2023-24, and we are now able to apply directly from within the University.
Then, I’d intended to have case studies looking at assessment; how I’d moved from developing objective tests, and pushing Questionmark to its limits, to coursework driven modules, often with a strong element of student input into the design of the assessment rubrics; use of social media (as it was then) reflective blogs – and so on. (Many things that are, unfortunately, still seen as ‘niche’ or novel today). In between those two points was a lot of what Dundee staff associate me with – using Turnitin. Even then, I was pushing TII to be the tutor, not the police force.
My other case study was probably going to be staff development – though I’d not fully committed to that.

Now, however, I’m determined to get the application done. I’d originally intended this to be a section of my main blog, however, as the application is to be submitted to Turnitin, I realised it’s probably better to keep this out of TII’s visibility until I’ve submitted. It can then be added 🙂
