The New York Times reports that Philadelphia city authorities have declined to buy back a hospital from private developers for the Corinavirus Crisis. Hahnemann University Hospital had been serving Philadelphia’s poorest residents since 1848 but closed last autumn leaving the city short on hospital beds.
