The CreateLoan is a free service where members of the University of Dundee community can borrow equipment and participate in sustainable practices. You will find a range of items to help you innovate, upcycle, create, and learn. Discover our collection in Library Search.
Equipment is available to borrow from the CreateSpace in the Main Library. View the operator manuals and safety guidelines in our SharePoint library.
Follow these steps to borrow an item:
- Select the ‘Issue’ option on the self-service machine
- Scan the barcode on your ID card
- Scan the barcode attached to the item you want to borrow
To return an item:
- Select the ‘Return’ option on the self-service machine
- Scan the barcode attached to the item you want to return
- Carefully place the item in the large grey bin located to the right of the self-issue machine
