This new project began with a relatively simple yet interesting research project into the disconnect of humans and nature and how certain projects, concepts, processes and companies are bringing back this connection whilst maintaining a positive effect on the enviroment in one of several ways:
- Advertising a positive charity concept or awareness of an environmental issue.
- Use of natural materials and ensuring their processes and production are environmentally conscious.
- Promoting a company-wide ethos of enjoying the outdoors
- Being overall inspired by nature aesthetically or technologically
This concluded in a presentation of three of the aforementioned ideas with a brief description of how and why they have focused on biomimicry or nature-focused designs or concepts.
