I did quite a bit of initial research before beginning this project. A big part of this project was materials, so I took a good look into the potential materials I could use. There was a mixture of man made and natural materials I looked at. Things such as empty bottles and drift wood.

I looked at different existing products, which met my brief for inspiration. I did this for each of the disciplines, just to get as much inspiration as possible.

I  also looked into different companies which had positive environmental intentions. All of them had a big focus on either upcycling existing products or using sustainable materials, so I feel materials will be a huge part of this project.
