For this board, I did a lot of experimenting with form. At first I was going to create a structure, meant to be placed outdoors, something people were able to take shelter in, a structure which would be temporary, but that’s only good for people who are already connected with nature.

Through this structure, I wanted to get people who aren’t connected with nature more interested in it, this is when the idea of a portable forest came to mind. At first it was just going to be 3 walls with trees on them, which could be taken to offices, to let people who are too busy to go out, the chance to be around nature.

Again I felt this was limiting to people in the work environment, and wasn’t engaging enough, so I decided on a final idea. This would be a circular room, which would be filled with plants. It would be taken from city to city, to allow people who live in cities a chance to experience nature.
