Dr Carolina KUEpper-Tetzel
TILE Founder
Carolina is the founder of the TILE network and a Lecturer in Psychology. Her expertise focuses on learning and memory phenomena that allow implementation in educational settings to offer teachers and students a wide range of beneficial strategies that promote long-term retention.
Carolina is convinced that psychological research should serve the public and, to that end, engages heavily in scholarly outreach and science communication. In her free time, she enjoys going on family trips to explore the beauty of Scotland, listening to her vinyl records, reading books, or watching movies and series.
Ginny Henderson
TILE Associate
Ginny is our TILE Associate who has a very keen interest in the scholarship of learning and teaching. An experienced registered nurse, having worked in a variety of clinical care settings, Ginny retains a passion for neonatal nursing. As a Lecturer in Nursing Ginny has gained a varied portfolio of teaching, research and scholarship in Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs both at home and abroad. Her research interests include developing workforce ready attributes in pre-registration nursing students and enhancing nursing education through innovative approaches.
Edward Wood
TILE Associate
Ed is an Educational Technologist at the University of Dundee, working with staff to enable them to utilise the tools available and help build confidence & competence. Prior to this he worked for 15 years as a technical developer in the private sector for an oil and gas company specialising in developing project management training and consultancy. With a product design background, he has a passion for design and the implementation of design thinking strategies. Ed has a keen interest in the progression and future opportunities of technology and innovation in delivering education.
Eva Goetzke
TILE Assistant
Eva is our TILE student assistant and helps out wherever she can, including helping design this website. She is a psychology student at the University of Dundee, with an interest in cognitive and educational psychology. In her spare time, she tries her luck at playing Volleyball and learning languages.
