Reader in English Keith Williams from the School of Humanities, Social Sciences and Law is taking the US by storm. A podcast he recently took part in on the 1933 Invisible Man adaptation is riding very high in the US Apple podcast charts – at the time of writing it was number 3.
Keith stars in an episode in Ayesha Khan’s popular Every Single Sci Fi Film series (which is available on the every podcasting app) discussing the 1933 film The Invisible Man and the original 1897 novel by H G Wells. He explores how scientific and technological advances influence literature and film making, particularly when dealing with futuristic concepts.
