[photo credit Simon Forsythe] As part of the growing partnership between the University’s  Creative Writing programme and V&A Dundee, eight students will have the opportunity to be writers-in-residence as part of the museum’s exhibition A Fragile Correspondence.

Students will respond to the themes of the exhibition on the relationship between land, language and architecture. V&A will publish the outcomes of these residencies online and host a public event to share this work. Students will also have the opportunity to work directly with artists and writers featured in the exhibition. The residency will take place in February 2025.

A Fragile Correspondence launched in Nov 2024 and runs until 25 May 2025 and is co-curated by several artists and organisations including Architecture Fringe and Miriam Mallalieu Art and Philosophy BA graduate and Dundee PhD (under the supervision of Dominic Smith, Senior Lecturer, Philosophy) and one of the artists is Art and Philosophy BA graduate Aaron McCarthy.
