While the University’s museums and galleries are temporarily closed due to the coronavirus emergency, we’re sharing more of our collections online. This is the first in a series of films in which museum curator Matthew Jarron tells the stories behind some of our most interesting objects and artworks. In the following video (part one of a two-parter) we look at the origins of Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design, focusing on the late 19th and early 20th century.

The film features images from the DJCAD collections as well as the University of Dundee Archives and private collections. Find our more about us at www.dundee.ac.uk/museum.
