Music and me project

Music and Me: Call for children’s drawings (0-12 years)

How children related to music? Do they like music? How they view the role of music in their lives? Do they think about music?

We are looking for interesting, expressive, age-appropriate children’s drawings that tell us about their relationship with music. The drawings are completely free. Any size or technique can be used. We welcome drawings from every child; not only from those participating in early music education. We particularly welcome drawings from babies and toddlers.

Submission: Please see the detailed instructions as where and how to submit a drawing, in the link below.

Deadline: The deadline of the submissions is midnight 25th May, 2021.

Results: Winners are announced on this website 1st June, 2021.

Prizes: There will be 3 age groups: 0-2 year-olds, 3-5 year-olds and 6-12 year olds. A committee (teacher, developmental researcher, musician and a child) (none participating in the competition) will look through the pictures and select three from each age groups that receive Amazon eGift vouchers online (£50/£30/£20 for the first, second, third place, respectively).

Winners to claim the prize by emailing e.nagy@dundee.ac.uk by the 10th June, 2021.
