Online Summer Programme

Join the Library CreateSpace on Zoom this summer for our free creative workshops:

  • Tuesday 6th July 5-6pm – Online Design tools: Free and simple ways to make beautiful graphics

The advent of online content publishing tools has finally made digital design accessible for everyone! This session explores three different free online tools which can be used for creating professional-looking graphics, social media posts and short videos: Canva, Adobe Spark and Biteable.

  • Tuesday 27th July 56pm – Knitting in Code: From data visualisation to espionage

Think knitting is just all about woolly jumpers, scarfs, and hats? Think again! Join us in this session to learn about ways knitting has been used creatively (and sometimes covertly!) to communicate important information.

  • Tuesday 17th August 5-6pm – Anyone can draw…an Avatar!

It can be difficult to find the perfect image for that all-important profile pic on MyDundee or Teams – so why not take total creative control and draw your own face!  Join CreateSpace favourite Andy Strachan from the CTIL Creative Media Team to learn how to draw your own avatar you can add to your online profiles.

Places can be booked via the events calendar on our Events & Training page.
