New Semester: New Workshops

We are running a number of exciting new workshops this semester, to help our students get familiar with some of the most popular equipment in the CreateSpace. Places are limited so make sure to book early via the CreateSpace Events page to avoid disappointment!

Cricut – Design and Print your own Vinyl Decals

1st February 1-2pm

Come to this workshop to learn how to use our CriCut machine to design, cut out and print your own vinyl decals which can be stuck onto all manner of objects, including notebooks, cards, ceramics, glass and even walls!

 

3D Print Basics – Getting starting with 3D Printing

3rd February 4-5pm

Have you always wondered how to get started with 3D Printing? In this workshop we will show you the basics of creating a 3D model using Autodesk 360 software and printing this model on one of our Ultimaker 3D Printers.  It will also cover some troubleshooting basics such as loading the 3D printer filament, dealing with common error messages, and removing your model from the printer.

 

CriCut EasyPress – Create your own Iron-on Transfers

10th February 4-5pm

Customise your own t-shirts, tote bags and fabrics using our new CriCut EasyPress.  Find out more in this workshop which will show how to create and print your design, ready to press onto your material. Remember to bring along your own T-shirt/tote bag if you would like to press your own design during the workshop.

 

Mayku FormBox – Make your own mold in less than a minute!

17th February 4-5pm

Learn how to use our Mayku FormBox to quickly create molds of any shape, either from an existing object or one you have designed yourself.  Use your molds with a range of materials, from concrete to soap, to create your products.
