The latest virtual walking tour by University museum curator Matthew Jarron focuses on Dundee’s waterfront. While the previous videos were made using Google Streetview, this one mostly takes place off-road and so was filmed in person on a glorious sunny day in September. The tour covers both familiar landmarks and overlooked artworks, starting at Doug Cocker’s Bridge sculpture and ending at the Submarine Memorial.
This is Matthew’s twelfth virtual public art tour, a series which started as part of Dundee Month of Design in May. They cover many parts of Dundee including Blackness, Hilltown and Stobswell as well as several in the city centre.
