We are excited to bring attention to an online collection of writing and art as the first instalment of These Windows. This collaborative project between the University of Dundee and the V&A Dundee aims to present an online gallery gathered on DURA to showcase the skill of both DJCAD Illustration BDes students as well as School of Humanties Creative Writing and Practice MLitt students.
The first collection starts with a co-written essay drawing together the students experience of the Scottish Design Galleries during a group visit to the V&A Dundee. Having the ability to handle objects from this expedition and explore them further has allowed the students to provide a unique glimpse into the creativity involved in the reimaging of past designs into new forms.

In the months to come, different pieces from the project will be published by the Voyage Out Press as a fine art word-and-image chapbook named These Windows which will be launched at an event at the V&A Dundee and available to buy in the V&A Museum Shop.
