Pride month takes place throughout June, commemorating the date of the Stonewell Riots which started in New York on the 28th of June, 1969. What started as protests for the LGBT+ community has now grown to become a celebration of love.

However, daily we are still reminded that many individuals across the globe are unfairly treated for being LGBT+. Dundee University strongly believes that this should not be the case and they stand with their LGBT+ community during this month.

They hope that their staff and student run drop-in sessions which are not only running this month but every month will help unite the LGBT+ staff and students.
