Dr Gro Marte Strand is an associate professor in pedagogics in the Department of Teacher Education at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). She is a trained teacher and has previously taught at primary school. The topic for her Ph.D. was the transition from primary to lower secondary school, and her research interests lie in the field of educational transitions, counseling, inclusion, and school-home collaboration.
