Dr Charlotte Bagnall is a lecturer at the University of Manchester within the Institute of Education. Charlotte holds a PhD in Psychology from Manchester Metropolitan University and an MSc in Psychology and BSc in English and Psychology from Keele University. Charlotte sits on the BPS Developmental Section committee, the BPS ECR committee and TCELT-INTR committee. Charlotte is an applied social developmental psychologist and her research is focused on supporting children’s emotional well-being and mental health within schools, especially pre, during and post the transition from primary school to secondary school. In particular, Charlotte is internationally recognised for her applied research focused on the design, delivery and evaluation of emotional-centred support provision to improve children’s emotional well-being over primary-secondary school transitions.
