Professor Divya Jindal-Snape (FAcSS) is Personal Chair of Education, Inclusion and Life Transitions in the School of Education and Social Work, at the University of Dundee. She gained her undergraduate and masters qualifications in India before moving to Japan to undertake a PhD at the University of Tsukuba. She started working at the University of Dundee in 1998. Her research expertise is in the field of educational and life transitions, inclusion, creativity, health education, voice and comics.
She is the founder Director of the Transformative Change: Educational and Life Transitions (TCELT) Research Centre and leads on the International Network of Transitions Researchers (TCELT-INTR). She is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Educational and Life Transitions,
Jindal-Snape is the Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences. She is a subpanel member and interdisciplinary research advisor for UK REF Unit of Assessment Education. She has collaborated on research projects and publications internationally, for example, from the USA, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Nigeria, New Zealand, Australia, Finland, Romania, France, Spain, Republic of Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, India, China and Japan.
